About the Salon
Welcome to 3thirty Salon — award winning for Best Afro Hair Salon London 2015 and Most Wanted Salon London 2019. We specialise in the fine art of hair styling, cutting, colouring, and are connoisseurs of curly and afro hair using the latest techniques from balayage, ombré, highlights, and free hand highlights on all hair textures.
With large gilded mirrors and crystal dangling chandeliers, our French baroque inspired décor brings you relaxation in the hustle and bustle of Shoreditch life, right in the heart of East London. We also offer an affiliated nail and threading bar for complete beauty.

What We Offer
Our Philosophy
The term “afro” is derived from “Afro-American,” referring to people of African descent living in the United States. The hairstyle became widely popular among African Americans during the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s, symbolising pride in cultural heritage and a rejection of Eurocentric beauty standards.
Afro hair is called natural hair because it is the unprocessed, unaltered state of black hair — never chemically relaxed or straightened. Characterised by tight curls or kinks, it is incredibly versatile. Healthy growth and optimal curl formation require patience, gentle care, and the right products.
